FAP (Fibroblast Activation Protein) is a transmembrane dipeptidyl peptidase (DPP) family member and a serine protease with dual activity as a peptidase and protein hydrolase. FAP has limited expression in normal tissues and is primarily found in activated fibroblasts during embryonic development, wound healing, and certain pathological conditions (such as cancer and fibrotic diseases). This makes it highly valuable for research in tumors and fibrotic diseases.
Genomeditech provides resources related to FAP, including expression cell lines, proteins, and antibodies, which can be used for in vitro evaluation of FAP-targeted drugs.
