PTK7 (Protein Tyrosine Kinase 7) is a gene encoding a transmembrane receptor protein, first identified in embryonic development. PTK7 is a kinase-inactive pseudokinase (kinase-dead receptor) as its tyrosine kinase domain lacks catalytic activity and thus cannot function as a typical kinase. PTK7 is highly expressed on the surface of cancer cells, making it an ideal target for immunotherapy and antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) development.
Genomeditech provides resources related to PTK7, including expression cell lines, proteins, and antibodies, which can be used for in vitro evaluation of PTK7-related drug efficacy.
