HER2(ERBB2)
Background

HER2 (Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2), also known as ERBB2, is a transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor that belongs to the EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor) family. HER2 plays a crucial role in various cellular signaling pathways by mediating signals related to cell proliferation, growth, and differentiation, thereby influencing cellular biological behavior. In normal tissues, HER2 expression levels are low; however, in certain cancers (such as breast cancer, gastric cancer, and ovarian cancer), HER2 gene amplification or overexpression is closely associated with tumor aggressiveness and poor prognosis.

Genomeditech provides scientific resources related to the HER2 target, including functional cell lines, expression cell lines, proteins, and antibodies, supporting drug screening, activity validation, and in vitro efficacy studies targeting HER2.
