CD38 (Cluster of Differentiation 38) is a transmembrane glycoprotein classified as a type II transmembrane protein, possessing both enzymatic activity and receptor functions. CD38 was initially identified in activated T cells and has since been found to be expressed in various immune cells (such as B cells, natural killer cells, and monocytes) as well as in non-immune tissues (such as the kidney, pancreas, and brain).
Genomeditech provides resources related to CD38, including expression cell lines, proteins, and antibodies, which can be used for in vitro evaluation of CD38-targeted drugs.
