GCGR (Glucagon Receptor) is a receptor belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, primarily expressed in the liver, kidneys, and other metabolic-related tissues, including pancreatic cells. GCGR consists of seven transmembrane helices, characteristic of GPCRs. Its ligand, glucagon, regulates blood glucose and energy metabolism, playing a critical role in metabolic disorders such as diabetes and obesity.
Genomeditech provides resources related to the GCGR target, including functional cell lines, expression cell lines, and antibodies, to support activity validation and in vitro efficacy evaluation of GCGR-related drugs.
