BDCA2 (Blood Dendritic Cell Antigen 2), also known as CLEC4C (C-type lectin domain family 4 member C), is a C-type lectin-like receptor specifically expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs). BDCA2 plays a critical role in regulating the immune functions of pDCs, particularly in antiviral immunity, the production of type I interferons, and maintaining immune homeostasis.
